Circa 4.2cm square with traces of glue to the reverse. Red silk embroidered on a dark blue cotton background, the design, a wheel with an arrow through it. Removed from uniform, some minor fraying to edges but bright and in good condition. Ref Morris Part 2 p9 no.5 refers.

Green Felt Shamrock Backing Cloth worn by an Irish Regiment
Circa 7cm wide and 6,5cm tall, holed to take the lugs of an east-west badge. I suspect the Inniskilling Fusiliers Piper's badge. Old hessian backng. Gap between the two holes is just under 5cm. Good condition with the exception of the two deliberate holes, no moth, but has some age to it.

Original dark green and yellow cloth diamond. Hessian packed. Note the mothing to the yellow section. Circa 7.2cm tall and 5.7cm wide. Note my item 51787 where it is worn as a back cloth to a cap badge. The rust at the back does suggest a pin fixing to s solar helmet pagri. read more
