The Film "Who Goes There" was made in 1952 and directed by Anthony Kimmins. A lovely Coldstream Guards Major's uniform. A few light marks to image otherwise in good condition. read more

A satirical postcard depicting the former leader of the South African Republics during the 2nd Boer War in exile. In good unused condition, very slight age foxing.

WW1 Comic Postcard - Finish Johnny! Xmas 1918 - produced by 8th Field Survey Company, Royal Engineers
WW1 Xmas card (blank reverse), Finish Johnny ( Turk ). Some minor corner wear and creasing, but a rare card from the often forgotten army of Salonika. Royal Engineer survey companies usually produced maps, but it is good to see that they had other artistic talents.
The Macedonian front was brought to an end at noon on 30th September 1918 when the ceasefire came into effect.
