WW2 Artist Rifles (Rifle Brigade) White Metal Cap Badge

A die struck white metal cap badge for the Artists Rifles with an original slider to reverse. This pattern with "Artists" only on the scroll. It was sealed in white metal on 14th April 1938, following their becoming affiliated to the Rifle Brigade in 1937, having formerly been known as the 28th Battalion of the County of London Regiment (Artists' Rifles).

A scarce white metal officers badge, nicely domed. The Lanark Militia were originally formed in Napoleonic times. This badge stems from around the Crimean War. The 2nd were formed in 1854.
