20th Hussars Other Ranks Brass Metal Cap Badge

20th Hussars Other Ranks Brass Metal Cap Badge

In good condition with original slider. Slider has slightly lifted on one corner, but is still strong and functional. There is nothing one can say of any merit about the design of this badge.

In 1922, the Regiment merged with the 14th Hussars, and this badge was consigned to history.

The Hampshire Regiment (37th & 67th Foot) Victorian / Edwardian Issue other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge

The Hampshire Regiment (37th & 67th Foot) Victorian / Edwardian Issue other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge

An attractive early pattern cap die struck two part bi-metal badge with four braising holes and two lugs (east - west), these appear to be later replacements but very neatly done - reflected in price. Slight service wear to high points on tiger, but overall a good stiff badge. Affectionally known as the cat and cabbage cap badge. 42mm across and 40mm tall.
