Scarce officers hallmarked silver cap badge with original pagri brooch pin fitting makers details for " B & P " and Birmingham assay hallmarks for 1904 (date letter 'e'). The " P A " monogram within the strings of a bugle horn surmounted by the Mural Crown and the honour scroll, " Jellalabad ". Badge blacked toned black from storage. In superb condition and rare.

Die struck in white metal. A small FS cap badge at circa 35mm tall with two lug fittings to the reverse. Remains in good condition. Scarce.
In 1908 the Leeds based 3rd Volunteer Battalion, West Yorkshire Regt became two separate Battalions - 7 & 8th (Territorial) Bn's, West Yorkshire Regt. Both had the title "Leeds Rifles" but had separate designs for their cap badges.
