WW1 Canada - Feversham Recruiting Bar - Gilt and Enamel Pin Brooch Fitting
An unusual and well made item, with slight damage to enamel (see photos). Maker marked to reverse W.O. Lewis Badges Ltd, B'ham (Birmingham). Circa 3.5cms wide. A scarce item. Feversham is a small town in Ontario, Canada. Given its style I can only assume this is related to recruiting activity in this rural community in Canada, but happy to be corrected.

A gilt brass and enamel sweetheart in very good condition with original and functional pin fitting, the '75' applied a bit crudely by hand. An enterprising generic sweetheart, personalised by a jeweller for the recipient by battalion. Unusual. No damage to enamel, gilt bright.
