A large and impressive brass cast badge in the shape of a 'Cheel' (Kite) facing right with wings outstretched, perched on a scroll with the inscription 'MARWAR', the ancient name for the kingdom of Jodhpur. Three of three integral tombstone style fixings to the reverse. Circa 7.3cms tall. In good worn condition. It was worn on the upper right arm. Rare.
