Die struck and voided example with some minor servce wear and with two original loops to the reverse. The earlier pattern with the garter strap tip to bottom of circlet. This pattern worn from 1913 - 1922 only. Circa 5.9cms tall.

Scarce brass shoulder title, only worn from the formation of the unit in 1956 until Independence in 1960. Originally blackened, most of the black finish is now absent, with two original lugs to the reverse. Scarce.

Die struck example with original and functional pin fittings. Circa 28mm in diameter. Minor service wear otherwise in very good condition. Worn circa 1939 - 1962.
The design is of a springbok head tracing left within a circle inscribed with the initial letters S.A.M.N.S. (English) and S.A.M.V.D. (Afrikaans). As worn on the coat lapel.

The die stamped sheet brass cap badge depicts a female figure with an anchor, Two original copper wire lugs are present on the reverse. The badge measures circa 43 tall x 33 mm wide. Lack of detail due to the nature of the stamping. but scarce to find with its loops intact.
