WW2 31st Nyasaland King's African Rifles Machine Gun Battalion Cast Brass Cap Badge
Theatre cast, with two integral loops and strengthening bar to reverse. The standard KAR bugle surmounted by a king's crown with a pair of crossed machine guns superimposed over the bugle. In very good undamaged condition and rare.

WW2 South Africa - Regiment Botha (Commando) Regiment Theatre Cast Cap Badge
Presumably a WW2 North African cast copy, theatre made, with two tomb stone style loops (one slightly damaged).
Regiment Botha was formed on 1st April 1934 at Ermelo and recruited in the then-northern and eastern Transvaal. By 1939 there were two battalions but only the second was mobilised on 19th June, 1940.

A die cast UK made badge with Arabic script on a scroll below the grenade. Two original loops to the reverse and embossed with the maker's details JR Gaunt London. Circa 48mm tall.
This was worn by an officer of the Artillery of the Jordanian Arab Legion. Worn by both British and Jordanian officers. Many thanks to Keith for its identification.

A near mint die struck gilding metal example in unissued condition but with a slider presumably for wearing on the pagri band on the tropical / sun helmet. Raised in 1902. Disbanded in 1926. Helmet badges found in a variety of metals: white metal, bronze, gilding metal and blackened.
