Flat gilt blazer buttons with an engraved St George and the Dragon and a Roman numeral 'V' below signifying that they were belong to the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. Circa 21mm in diameter and 14mm in diameter respectively, both with fixed shanks and backmarked Gaunt London.

Victorian Medical Staff Corps Officer's Fire Gilt Button Set

Circa 23mm and 15mm in diameter respectively. Fixed shanks and all maker marked J.W. Reynolds & Co, 50 St. Martin's Lane, London. The smaller pair most probably from cap. All in brilliant fire gilt and of a super quality. Only fault is one of the smaller buttons has a small scratch near rim. Scarce maker. Worn 1855 - 1898. From 1898 became the RAMC.
