Skill in Driving Steering Wheel Prize Proficiency Trade Arm Badge - Mechanised Units
Introduced in the early 1930s and abolished in 1950, this steering wheel brass badge was awarded to Mechanised Batteries of the Royal Artillery and from 1936 to Royal Engineer and Royal Signals also, at the rate of one prize per unit and were also worn in WW2 to signify driving instructors.
