The Middlesex Regiment Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge
A bi-metal cap badge for The Middlesex Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west), which suggest it to be a Victorian/Edwardian example. A couple of small braising holes evident behind the ich dein scrolls. In superb unissued condition.

In great condition, a die struck bi-metal cap badge with original slider to the reverse, maker marked (correct pattern in 3 lines) Gladman & Norman / Spencer St / Birmingham 18. Scarce maker. This pattern worn from 1918 to 1957, when a Queen's crown pattern appeared.

WW1 Army Veterinary Corps (AVC) Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge
Die struck with original tapering slider. Some traces of verdigris to left-handside of laurel wreath and the reverse, and traces of dried polish. In good worn condition.
Formed in 1903, they were awarded Royal in November 1918, and a more impressive badge was issued, see my item 70081.

RAVC (Royal Army Veterinary Corps) Large Pattern Brass Shoulder Title
Large brass shoulder title variety with two original loops to the reverse. Circa 4.8cms wide and 1.8cms tall. A bit of loss of detail from polishing and some staining otherwise in good condition. Royal prefix awarded in 1918, so post WW1.
