WW1 German Malta 1914-15 Prisoner of War PoW Commemorative Medal

Made in a soft white metal alloy, silver washed (possibly has some lead in it, so please wash hands after handling). Feint traces of hallmarks in the front of the bugle's mouth suggesting this has been nicely cast from an officer's hallmarked silver example but this is in gilt brass metal with two small gilded loops to the reverse. King's crown. In very good condition.

Indian Army - 5th Mahratta Light Infantry Officers Mess Dress Button, 1922 - 1947

Two part construction silver plated device mounted on flat gilt brass button, with fixed shank. Marker marked to the reverse Gaunt London. Circa 14mm in diameter. Slightly tarnished otherwise good condition. Stock photo, but all of equal quality.

The 1887 - 1902 white metal detachable larger pattern glengarry white metal centre with all three staple style loops to the reverse, mounted on a die-stamped brass example of a QVC crowned brass star bearing laurel wreath which also has both of its original staple style loops. New Zealand Home Guard Cap Badge (not a shoulder title - see note below). With typical style of loops found on New Zealand badges (other than those made by Gaunt). The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment Victorian QVC Gilding Metal 1st pattern Helmet Plate Centre (HPC)

With two out of four original lstaple style loops remaining otherwise in very good condition. Worn 1881 - 1902 on the Helmet Plate Centre and, until 1895, on the Glengarry. Dark toned.

Note the reduction in the size of the laurel sprays to accommodate the long regimental title. The crown above the rose changed to a king's crown in 1902.
