Formed in March 1961 from the amalgamation of the Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment) and the Royal West Kent Regiments. Amalgamated in 1966 with the Queen's Royal Surrey, the Royal Sussex and the The Middlesex Regiments to form the Queen's Regiment.

A stunning gilt and silver plated example of two part riveted construction with two original long loops to reverse. As worn by the Officers, RSM and the Bandmaster in the Service Dress Cap and in the Forage Cap without any backing cloth. Circa 44mm tall. In mint condition.
