WW2 British Forces Kings Badge for Loyal Service

Introduced in 1941, circa 26mm in diameter struck in white metal. The King's Badge was awarded to British Forces personnel who had been invalided out of the services during WW2 and were entitled to a war disablement pension. They were both unnamed and unnumbered. A small and attractive enamel and hallmarked silver buttonhole lapel badge for a Patron of the Old Contemptibles Association. Enamel in good undamaged condition. Maker marked Toy & Co Ltd London (under the horseshoe fitting) and also T & Co to reverse and hallmarked silver stamps for London 1932 (date letter R). Circa 19mm in diameter and in very good condition. Scarce.

2nd Pattern Rectangular, circa 5.2cm by 4cm. Removed from uniform but in very good condition. The red bells on a black background. Finely woven in silk.
