Left facing. Removed from uniform but in good overall condition.
Initially fought in Tunisia as part of 1st Army, through Italy as part of the 8th Army and also with 15th Army Group. At the war end was renumbered 1st Armoured Division.

The Gordon Highlanders (75th & 92nd Foot) White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge
There are two varieties of motto scroll, "BY DAND" and "BYDAND", this one being of the latter variety. Two original short copper loops. In very good condition with sharp detail. A good stiff badge but most probably a post WW2 issue.
