Indian Army - 13th Duke of Connaughts Own Lancers Bi Metal Cap Badge, pre 1947
A quality two part construction quality bi-metal cap badge with four original small lugs to the reverse. Circa 4.2 cm tall. No damage to lance pennants or points. Some minor service wear to gilt finish.

29377 Sgt H. Watson 2-DAC AIF Enlisted in Feb 1916, with pre war militia service. Went to France in 1916, and had field service until the end of war. Noted in his papers that he allowed 2 committed prisoners to escape in late 1918! Also noted he served heavy guns, including Howitzers. Great actions, including Somme offensive and Hindenburg line. Discharged in UK, July1919.

A Rolls Royce Armoured Car in good bullion on a black backing, circa 7.5cm wide and 4.5cm tall. In good condition and removed from uniform. Has some slight edge wear / light moth grazing to left edge.
Worn by all ranks of the 12th Lancers up to WOII, and later by 9th/12th Lancers.
