A good post 1911 British made die-cast rich gilt “TANGANYIKA TERRITORY” circlet with giraffe’s head to voided centre. Firmin, London on its original slider. Some minorwear but most of the markings on the giraffe's next still sharp. A couple of obvious die flaws where the two "T"s in the title strap have been struck otherwise a pleasing example. A scarce original early issue 'Nurse Training School Royal Air Force' gilt badge inlaid with pale blue enamelling, depicting a 'caduceus' superimposed over laurel wreath. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting and safety hook. No damage to the enamel, gilt remain bright. Circa 32mm in diameter.
