A good large die-stamped bi-metal example, two part construction, crown with usual strengthening bars to reverse as found on with this particular badge. Small die struck with two original dark toned lugs to the reverse. The Rifle Brigade did not wear collar badges. This is often referred to as the four-scroll badge with Battle honours to Crimea only. Circa 3.2cm tall. This one with a Victorian Crown, also found with an imperial crown. In very good condition, some squashing to the lugs but still fully functional.

An early single other ranks collar badge with flag waving to the left, flames facing to the right. Two original lugs. Circa 4cm in length. In worn condition, polishing to the castle detail and the ball of the grenade misshapen. Worn from 1881 until 1927.

Churchill No 730 refers (but this one with more rounding to the pattern of the flames).
