A single right facing grenade collar badge with seven points to flames and with St George mounted in silver. Circa 5.8cm wide. Worn in facing pairs horizontally on the tunic and blue frock coat. Removed from uniform with traces of glue to the reverse. In good conidtion, has some age to it and silver dark toned. Worn 1881 - 1914.

Victorian 36th ( Herefordshire ) Regiment of Foot Brass Other Ranks Collar Badge, 1873 - 1882.

Early pattern collar badge, with two original brass lugs to the reverse. Slight touch of verdigris to front. Circa 2.6cm tall. In good condition with sharp detail. Scarce.

In 1881 the regiment merged with 29th (Worcestershire) Regiment of Foot to become the 2nd Battalion of the Worestershire Regiment.

A die cast one piece bronze shoulder title with two original loops th the reverse and red felt cloth backing. Formed and commanded by “Colonel” Phyllis Mary Lovell, a Suffragette and FANY driver. The unit existed from September 1914 to March 1918. Circa 5cm wide. Rare.

Silver War Badge, dark toned, pin broken and clasp squashed shut. SWB roll included which confirms it was awarded to
Private Joseph Lynch, 25/352 of the 2nd Tyneside Irish. Enlisted 16/11/1914, discharged 27th January 1917 from the depot. Date suggests he was a Somme casualty. Also listed in John Sheen's book " Tyneside Irish " on page 231. Listed as A Company, wounded in O...  read more

A scarce example of four bullion wound strips tailored into one panel. These are mounted onto Other Ranks pattern backing cloth. In very good condition with no moth or damage. Measures 6.3cm by 4.7cm in total, but without the top and tailing strips, the bullion wound stripes measure 5cm ( 2 inches ) as one would expect to find from WW1 wound stripes. Looks like glue traces to reverse.  read more
