A first pattern SWB officially impressed 273458 awarded to Pioneer Eswin Wheaton, Royal Engineers (Road Transport Depot). An unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. In very good condition, bright cleaned, original C clasp and pin. Circa 32mm in diameter.

RMS Orduna (Pacific Steam Navigation Company) Enamel and Gilt Sweetheart Pin Brooch Badge

SS Orduna built in 1914 by Harland & Wolff for the Pacific Steamship Navigation Company (PSNCo) for use on the Latin American routes shipping mail and passengers. After two voyages she was chartered to Cunard Line during the Great War. In 1921 she went to the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, then being resold to the PSNCo in 1926.
