A scarce original officer's pre 1941 die cast figure of an Elizabethan coast-watcher holding a flaming torch and scanning the horizon resting in a curved scroll inscribed 'Observer Corps'; the reverse retaining two original long loops (some slight twisting from service wear). WW2 Original Portrait Photo of ATS plus Sterling Silver ID Tag for 40th Durham Company ATS
Came together but cannot prove the photo of the woman is the owner of the ID bracelet tag. A photo taken in Edinburgh in 1943 (dated on reverse). Image not the sharpest but badges easily identifiable nonetheless. The tag has some discolouration from old cellotape but should clean up nicely. It is to a M. B. Harris 40th Durham Company ATS, marked sterling for sterling silver. Scarce.

This pattern replaced the Street Fire Parties ( SFP ) armlet when fire watchers were renamed Fireguards. Yellow letters painted on to a blue cloth armlet. Some minor cracking to paint, but all intact. Circa 20cm across and 8.5cm tall. Good condition, with no moth, tears or repairs.
