An original Second World War period gilt and enamel 'Rest Centre Service badge'. Enamel good but some rust to reverse which has slightly corrupted the gilt edge to the front over the word 'centre', complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt otherwise remains fresh. A good early and original Second World War period 'Auxiliary Fire Service cap badge'; die-cast chromium plated eight pointed star, with red enamel 'AFS' lettering to the centre. Good condition, complete with original two loop fittings (some bending but functional) and original chromed split pin, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear. A good original wartime issue 1940's onwards silver plated red enamel badge, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.M' (H.W. Miller) official issue number '182859'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
