Great image and he appears to be wearing the bugle above the globe and laurel on his peaked cap indicating he was RMLI. The reverse advertises the concerts in honour of the French Fleet and the fact that one of his own compositions, L'Entente Cordiale would be played.

WW1 Comic Home Front Rations Art Postcard
Postally used, GV stamp, postmark looks like July 1918. Bit grubby but in good condition with only minor corner bruising, but has writing on both front and back.
