4th Prince of Wales's Own Gurkha Rifles Officer's Mess Jacket Collar Badge
In unmarked Indian silver, sand cast and with two small silver loops and circa 19mm wide and 17mm high. As worn circa 1924 - 1947 on the Officer's mess jacket. This one possibly made by the Regiment's in-house silver smith (Each battalion of Gurkhas somewhat uniquely in the British Army had its own silversmith).

5th Battalion (Territorial) The Kings Regiment (Liverpool) Officers Blackened OSD Cap / Collar Badge
A blackened OSD collar sized badge, facing in the same direction of the cap badge, and the lugs pinched out in such a way as to suggest this may have also been worn on the cap as well as a collar. Some wear to the black finish but this provides an attractive patina. Circa 3.8cms tall.

A domed variety with a good spread of flames, of two part construction with two original loops to reverse. Churchill claims this pattern was also worn in WW1 by the 4th Battalion in their caps. Introduced for in 1902 for wear on the Officers' service dress. In very good condition.
