Perthshire Militia / 4th (Perthshire) Volunteer Battalion, The Black Watch / Glenalmond OTC Collar Badge
A double headed eagle from the arms of Perth with two original loops to the reverse, worn from 1854 by the Perthshire Militia, by the 4th VB from 1887 until 1908 and also by the Glenalmond OTC. 17th County of London ( Poplar and Stepney Rifles ) ( Territorials ) Blackened Brass Cap Badge, 1908 - 1911 only
Blackened brass, die struck and with original slider. Good strong badge, Blank tablet below crown and Battle Honours South Africa 1899 1902 on the arms of the cross. Finish in excellent condition. Partly un-voided. Created in 1908. QVC crown to bugle in the central device was apparently only worn until about 1911, making this a scarce badge.

Berkshire Territorials Silver Anodised Aluminium Cap Badge

Circa 1968 the silver large horse was designed for the Berkshire Territorials which included an element form the Berkshire Yeomanry. This badge is recorded in the BY regimental history that it was briefly worn on a red felt oval.

Rare early Victorian blackened brass officers waist-belt clasp. A bugle horn surmounted by the crown to one half of a seeded rectangular plate with 'roped'border bearing a furled scroll, Norfolk Rifle Volunteers . The plate has plain belt loops and both halves bear matching benchmarks '48'. In stunning condition. Circa 1859 - 1872.

Die struck white metal militia glengarry badge, circa 1870 - 1881. This pattern is not listed in K&K. Circa 6.2cm tall and 3.7cm wide. One dark toned lug remaining of two, the one in the crown as been clipped off. Sharp detail with two slight spots of verdigris staining to front. Scarce. read more
