13th/18th Hussars Staybrite Anodised Aluminium Cap Badge - Beewyse London

A very rare badge made by Beewyse London, a maker most often associated with Middle East badges. I have seen a Wessex Brigade Staybrite of their manufacture, but only one example and never of any other British Army Badge until encountering this one. A collar sized cap badge with two very long loops and of two part riveted construction, marked 'P' for silver plate and maker marked JR Gaunt London. The gilt now polished back to the brass. Blue enamel to centre looks a bit dusty but appears intact. Scarce.
