A good scarce die cast silver plate example worn circa 1902-1914. Red cloth backing to centre now pretty much absent but has a stout pagri pin with C clasp to the reverse. In very good condition with sharp detail.

Scarce Gold Coast Regiment West African Frontier Force ( GCR WAFF ) Brass Shoulder Title

Early pattern as worn from 1901 - 1928 (the title Royal was bestowed in 1928 in view of their service against the Germans in Africa during WW1 ). A large elliptical one piece die cast shoulder title. This is a heavy quality piece, circa 5.4cm wide and 3.4cm tall. Slight misshaping to one lug. Scarce.

A full size example with three of three original loops to the reverse. Mounted wheel, fixed in place so does not turn. King's crown so pre 1952. Good colour with minimal wear. Crown shaped backwards with an unusual additional ring attached to back of orb otherwise in very good condition (I have seen this additional securing ring attached to two other examples of this badge).
