New Zealand WW1 - Matched Facing Pair of Blackened Collar badges to the New Zealand Rifle Brigade - Gaunt Tablets
A matched facing pair of die struck collar badges with only one of two original loops to the reverse of each, but each with a JR Gaunt London tablet to the reverse. The cap badge and collar badges were the same size. The collars were worn facing inwards, the cap badge faced to the left. Circa 3.9cm tall. Possibly re blacked to front. Condition reflected in price.

A Maori War Canoe travelling to the left over water (the other variety is over a fern leaf), with two large original copper wire loop soldered to the reverse. To front, to the left of the 2 is a registered design number 931(?). A rare item in undamaged condition.
