Early and scarce anodised aluminium button, gilt coloured, circa 26mm in diameter. Fixed shank. Blank reverse. This pattern was worn until 1961, but with a King's crown this probably dates to pre 1953. Good condition.

Early and scarce anodised aluminium button, gilt coloured, circa 26mm in diameter. Floating shank. Backmarked Buttons Limited, Birmingham. Slight wear to castle's highpoints, which looks worse in the photo. King's crown therefore most probably pre 1953. This pattern was only worn until 1959.
