Has a lot of knocks to the hollow silver construction, possibly a replacement pin. Circa 3.5cm tall. Hallmarked silver with Birmingham assay marks for 1907.

WW2 Royal Air Force (RAF) Mizpah Sweetheart Gilt Brooch Pin Badge

A mizpah gilt brass sweetheart brooch in the classic double heart shape, to one side it has the pilot wing emblem for the RAF and on the other heart script which reads, ‘the lord watch between me & thee when we are absent from one another’. It comes in good overall condition for age, with fully functional and original pin fittings. It measures just over 3.4cms wide.

A spiffing looking photo in gloss black and white, large format at 10 inches by 8 inches. The reverse has information about the photo attached to the reverse. The Film "Who Goes There" was made in 1952 and directed by Anthony Kimmins. A lovely Coldstream Guards Major's uniform. A few light marks to image otherwise in good condition.  read more

In very good condition with two original loops to the reverse.

The Mons OCS was closed in 1972, and its responsibilities transferred to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, which was re-organised as an academy for student officers and officer cadets, including regulars, short servicemen, and Territorials.
