17/21st lancers Hallmarked Silver Officers Mess Dress Collar Badges
A pair of hallmarked silver mess dress collars, both converted to functional pin fittings to the reverse and maker marked JR Gaunt London. However, despite their close similarity from the front (not quite matching) the hallmarks are 20 years apart, one with Birmingham assay mark with Letter C (1927) and the other Letter X (1947). Circa 2.1cms tall. Quality items rarely encountered.

Scarce 1902-08 Irish brass shoulder title. in very good condition, cut from thick sheet brass with two original loops to the rear. Raised in March 1900 as South Irish Horse. Renamed in 1902 as the South of Ireland Yeomanry. Reverted back to the South Irish Horse in 1908. Disbanded in 1922.
