A die struck gilding metal cap badge with two original loops to the reverse as worn by the South African Heavy Artillery, worn 1915 - 1919. A field service cap badge with two original loops. Crowned Garter resting in four-part scroll “Queen’s Own Corps of Guides”, VR to voided centre and QVC crown above. This appears to have been cast from a hallmarked original (evidence of this to reverse). Circa 3.3cms tall. In good condition.
