Highland Light Infantry HLI Matched Facing Pair of Other Ranks Brass Two Piece Shoulder Titles
A facing pair with all loops present and correct. Not matching but display well together. One of the HLI titles has been maker marked JR Gaunt London.
Other ranks wore this title below a bugle from 1908 onwards until 1930 and then again from 1936 until white metal was adopted in 1954.

Highland Light Infantry HLI Matched Pacing Pair of Brass One Piece Shoulder Titles
Lovingly polished so lost a lot of detail, but clearly a matched pair with two original hexagonal fixing loops to the reverse of each. This pattern was worn from 1930 for only a few years until 1936 and then replaced by the title previously worn (Westlake 1353). Polished but rare.
Westlake Nos 1357 / 1358 refer.

74th Regiment of Foot (Later 2nd Battalion The Highland Light Infantry) Other Ranks Pewter Opened Back Button
In excavated condition missing shank, circa 21.5mm in diameter. Some crud stuck to reverse so unable to see whether there were any maker marks. Some loss of detail and definition to front but the crown, elephant, numeral '74' and battle honour 'Assaye' still very much discernable. Apparently recovered from the wreak of HMS Birkinhead.
