A large flat backed theatre cast example, nicely voided with a King's Crown above a scroll 'Pioneers' and GRI cypher to centre. Two original loops to reverse (slight twisting). A large badge at circa In very good condition. Circa 5.1cms tall. The owner claims it was worn 1940 - 1947, which seems to be supported by the information below.

A cast unmarked silver example with two original loops to the reverse. A seated crowned Chinthe facing left on a torse above the scroll 'Civis Sed Miles' (A citizen but a soldier) with a further scroll below that with the words "RESERVE Bn. B.M.P." A Theatre made cast blackened brass example with two original loops (n-s) to the reverse. Flat topped Victorian crown (similar to DLI Victorian Cap badge), more usually found with a King's Crown, but in either event as worn from 1922 - 1950. Some wear to painted black finish on highpoints otherwise in good overall condition.
