19th Foot (Green Howards / Yorkshire Regiment) Other Ranks Collar Badge, 1875 - 1881 only
Die struck brass collar with two original lugs to the reverse. In very condition and with a pattern of coronet or crown unique to the 19th Regiment (as opposed to the flatter and wider crown worn by other infantry regiments pre 1878 - see my item 60673). Circa 2.2cm wide and 1.7cm tall. Scarce.
In 1881 the 19th Foot became the Green Howards ( Yorkshire Regiment).

Early Grenadier Guards Other Ranks Valise Badge William IV, 1830 - 1837
A large and heavily die struck gilded brass valise other ranks badge of the Grenadier Guards with the cypher for King William the Fourth (who predated Queen Victoria) with four old contemporary replacement loops. WW2 7th Armoured Brigade Woven 1st Pattern Formation Sign - The Jungle Rat!
A light green 'right facing' jerboa (jungle rat) within a red circle set on a circular white background. A bit grubby, a little stained and with some edge nibbles. not come across this pattern with a black backing before. Scarce.

WW2 ATS ( Auxiliary Territorial Service ) Cloth Teardrop Badge Backing
Formed in 1938 as a women only unit, this badge backing was a good way to jazz up what was otherwise a very uninspiring cap badge. This one has not been hold yet for a slider. Note the pointy end was worn to the top. Circa 7.2cm tall, hessian backed. A touch grubby but no damage or moth. Quite hard to find.
