King George V's Coronation Medal, 1911 attributed to Sir William Russell, Knight - from Glasgow - of Scottish interest
Full sized silver issue (circa 16,000 were struck). Unnamed as issued in box of issue (in damaged but repairable condition). The box is post-box red card with a lion atop of a King's crown in black and the words "Coronation Medal" above in capitals and below the date "1911". a) 1902 coronation, London County Council, Metropolitan Fire Brigade Bronze Issue (Engraved in large upright capitals to Thomas Luck), ribbon in condition, short but the correct ribbon. Medal is GVF with some light contact marks and scratches to obverse (only 1,000 issued to LCC MFB).

Very rare WW1 Coventry ( Warwickshire ) Volunteer Force Training Corps Cap Badge
Circa 4.3cm tall and 3.5cm wide at widest point. Two original lugs, east - west, some staining to elehpant's head which I have not attempted to clean. Slight distortion and twisting to badge, but strong firm brass and never seen this before. Any information welcome. read more

Royal Naval Training Ship Merit Medal in unmarked silver. Reverse is engraved in slanting capitals "E.HILL". Original Ribbon of pale cream colour with a thin naval blue border down either side with a suspension ring sewn into the top. GVF and 30mm in diameter.
