Scarce 1st pattern WW2 Parachute Regiment White Metal Cap Badge - voided crown
Original white metal die struck para cap badge with voided king's crown and voided lion's legs, indicating an early first issue type cap badge, with two original dark toned fixing loops the reverse. Much less common than the plastic economy version. Also a superb example.

Pre WW1 / WW1 Original Photo Postcard of Troops INSIDE barrack room
Postally unused, a scarce image of the inside of a pre WW1 / WW1 barracks. The soldier seated on the far left has a three piece territorial army brass shoulder title but unable to make out the unit. Some white specs from developing flaw otherwise in good condition with a slight crease to the right side. A posed photo but also one showing them relaxing and working on their kit.

Postally unused some edge wear and fold to bottom right corner otherwise in good condition.
Ifs bully beef tonight lads! Cooks of E Company display their tins of Fray Bentos and very helpfully a set of blackboards confirming the battalion's identity. The date 1912 places them inside a barracks located in South Africa as this is where they were stationed at that time.

Matching benchmarks '890' stampled to both halves still fitted to its original brown leather belt complete with its fittings. Leather is dry and could do with a light waxing to improve its feel and protect it otherwise in very good condition.

WW2 BBC London Calling Leaflet
A rare original WW2 BBC leaflet for the British Broadcasting Corporation giving details of weekly information broadcasts sent out from London by Morse Code around the world including occupied Europe. Circa 8 inches by 5 inches and printed in ten languages over four sides on wartime austerity paper. In good condition, has been folded but no damage, repairs or annotations.

WW2 War Raised Unit - Reconnaissance RECCE Corps
Dark brown coloured cellulose acetate plastic economy badge (intended to save on metals for the war effort) and sometimes incorrectly referred to as Bakelite. Sealed pattern 1942. Maker's name A.Stanley & Sons, Walsall to the reverse. Some warping as often found on this badges - the spearpoint curls backwards when viewed from the side but displays well from the front.

A scarce printed shoulder title to members of the Royal Observer Corps serving aboard ships, being a convex arc of black "waterproof" cotton material with an internal border containing SEABORNE, all printed in light blue. Removed from uniform otherwise in good condition.

Red lettering on black felt cloth, paste back in very good condition and scarce. Battle dress removed example. Scarce.
Unofficial titles were worn by various beach groups present at D-Day. This one worn by personnel of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC) Beach Detachments.

63rd Gurkha Division / Brigade formation designation sign
Printed white crossed kukris on a black background, 4.7cm by 3.6cm, attributed to 63rd Gurkha Brigade. Still attached to a piece of jungle green uniform and has age to it. Folded at one point. The 63rd were disbanded in 1962.
