WW2 - 1GR Woven Shoulder Title - 1st Gurkha Rifles

"1.G.R " in black embroidery on light khaki cloth sewn to an olive green backing. The publication below confirms on page 42 that all examples known have no full stop after the "R" as with this one. Worn by all ranks in WW2. Some glue to traces to reverse otherwise in very good worn condition.

Victorian 4th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Side Cap Black Cord Boss Badge

A very early example with the device in cast silver plate and with a flat top Victorian crown, most probably from 1891 to 1901.
