The Norfolk Regiment Officers Waist Belt Clasp (WBC)
As worn from 1881 until 1902, in good condition, some toning to silver plated finish. Matching benchmarks No "24" to each part. Gilt remains relatively fresh and silvered parts are still sharp with no missing fiddly bits. Britannia above a representation of Norwich castle to centre. A pleasing example.

Top brass (RAF ) accompany American General Dwight D. ( Ike ) Eisenhower as he inspects a fine looking body of troops. Not sure which regiment. Post WW2 photo / postcard with blank reverse. In very good condition. Pre 1953. Later the 34th President of the USA.

WW2 Early HM Destroyer Royal Navy Ratings Cap Tally
An original embroidered gold thread on black silk ribbon, with swallow tail ends and circa 35 inches ( 68cm ) in length. These "anonymous" cap tallies were intended to ensure that the enemy could not work out which warship was where. Note the full stops.
The tiny white spot in the photo is not a mark on the tally, it was a spec of thread which brushed off.

WW2 Royal Navy Ratings HMS Cap Tally.
Full-length WW2 ribbon with gold-wire woven title "H.M.S" (Note full-stops).
At the start of World War 2, for security reasons sailors stopped wearing cap-tallies showing their ship's name. Tallies bearing HM Minesweeper and HM Destroyer were eventually replaced by a universal tally bearing only "H.M.S."
This tally has been worn but is in very good condition.
