Royal Berkshire Regiment - Without 'R Berks' below the dragon indicating a 1902-1920 issue mounted on a red/ maroon cord boss with two retaining wires still present. I think this has been mounted on the wrong coloured cord boss. According to K&K it should have been fitted to a khaki cord boss and worn with a red felt backing. Die struck in gilding metal with two original loops and a maker's tablet JR Gaunt / London. Some verdigris to reverse otherwise in very good condition with sharp detail. This pattern worn in this size as both a forage cap badge and collar badge.

Pickled brass collar badge with two original long loops to the reverse. Maker marked R J Inglis Limited. Touch of verdigris to front otherwise in good condition. Circa 3.2cms tall.

WW1 Durham City Special Constable Constabulary Police Enamel Gilt Mufti Lapel Buttonhole Badge
A rare badge from this very small force. Not to be confused with the frequently encountered Durham County specials badge from the same era. Some surface scratches to the enamel but otherwise intact. Original horseshoe fixing and maker marked Thomas Fattorini, Bolton.
