A brass die struck cap badge with original slider unique to the 5th Territorial Cinque Ports Battalion. It comprises a shield bearing the Arms of the Cinque Ports upon the Maltese cross and Roussillon Plume above the title scroll. In very good condition.

Good scarce die-stamped blackened brass crowned coiled bugle ornamented with laurel; White Horse of Kent on steel wire gauze to voided centre. Some staining from rusting of backing mesh. Loops professionally replaced with white metal pin fittings. Scarce.

18th formed at Bromley 26th March, 1860.
