A die cast white metal example with to original loops to the reverse. Circa 3.6cms tall and 4cms wide. Scarce.

7th Queen's Own Hussars NCO's White Metal Arm Badge on Correct Scarlet Felt Backing
As worn until 1958, this is in white metal with two original loops NS to the reverse (one bent slightly downwards) with scarlet felt backing. The scarlet backing was granted at the request of the Commanding Officer who was perturbed that the Regiment might be mistaken for the Army Catering Corps because both had similar shaped badges. A 1970s issue, flat die cast in chrome with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 39mm tall and 42mm wide with loops EW (19mm gap). With dark blue felt backing. It came with this but cannot determine whether this is correct or not. It certainly displays better with it.
